Statements of Faith
God
We believe that God is a spirit; that God is love; that God is holy; that God is the word (John 4:24; 1 John 4:8;
Leviticus 11:44; John 1:1). He is the Father of us all and everything in the world belongs to him (Psalm 24:1).
We believe that God first loved us and therefore he sent his only begotten son into the world to save the world
from their sins (1 John 4:19; John 3:16).
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the son of God. We believe he was the word made flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14).
We believe that no man can come unto the Father but by Jesus (John 14:6). We believe Jesus walked the earth
as a man with no sin to show the world that they can live in the flesh and sin not. We believe he died on the cross
in his flesh and rose again after three days a Spirit, which is the Christ (Luke 24:1-9). We believe that Jesus will
come again to receive his bride, the church, and they will reside in a holy city called New Jerusalem
(Revelation 21:1-3).
Holy Spirit/Spirit of God/Spirit of the Lord
We believe that the Holy Spirit is used in reference to the Father (Luke 11:13).We believe that this is the Spirit of
the Father who is God. We believe the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us to get a certain work done (Isaiah 61:1-4).
We believe that the Spirit of the Lord is used by the Father to draw us unto the son so that we can be saved
(John 6:44).
Holy Ghost/Spirit of Christ
We believe that the Holy Ghost is used in reference to Jesus (John 14:16,26). We believe that in order to receive
the Holy Ghost, which is a gift from the Lord God, you must repent and tarry for the the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38;
Luke 24:49). We believe that power comes to us by the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8). We believe that the Holy Ghost is
an indwelling Spirit that dwells in our soul to keep and comfort us (1 John 4:4; 2 Timothy 1:14; John 14:26).
The Holy Bible
We believe in the King James Version of the bible. We believe that the word of God is true (Romans 3:4).
