John 2:15; And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; v16; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise. Simple nowadays the church is merchandising grace and mercy. And telling you that you are more than a conqueror. But that’s not the way the church suppose to be. Titus 2:11; For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, v12; Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. And nowadays church folk have the gall to think that they can broaden their walk in the Lord, and still say, that they are maintaining their relationship with him. Matthew 21:19; And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. Church the Lord looks at it that you taking leave away from him. John 15:4; Abide in me, and I in you. When You Are “SUSTAIN NOW!” Elijah; 1 Kings 17:9; Arise, Get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. Have you ever thought about, now what’s the difference? Isaiah 55:11; So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. There isn’t any difference. When You Are “SUSTAIN NOW!” 1 Kings 17:10; Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. v11; Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. Satan wants to question the whereabouts of your righteousness. For an occasion to the flesh. Provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. If it’s not close to your chest, your righteousness will be exposed. Ephesians 6:14; Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. Now that’s right about where/wear it should be. But when it is exposed and opened, fear comes in. Matthew 26:41; The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Ephesians 4:14; Tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Job knew how to where/wear his righteousness. Job 13:15; Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Job 27:6; My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. Abigail knew how to where/wear her righteousness. 1 Samuel 25:25; Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send. Bound, tied up like that!
