Answer; Jonah, was told to go to Nineveh, but instead he rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. Jonah 1:3. See, you'll try to be in the Lord, but be picky. He set sail on the ship, but, things start to not go as plan. A great wind into the sea came, so that the ship was like to be broken (v4). Jonah 1:10; Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them. PROMISE; Hebrews 10:23; Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised); When it comes to our walk in him, and what he even promised us naturally, see, he is not; 2 Peter 3:9; The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. He wants us in a position at all time where our promises can land. That's why, and it makes no difference who you are in the Lord or what you may be doing in the Lord at any given time. But, yet no LANDING has taken place. You need to start thinking, "What's going on, when it comes to this I thought I had liberty? Exodus 3:8; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. I advise you, to use spiritual maintenance to check out your LAND. This is a good maintenance check. 2 Chronicles 7:14; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. It was given to me, to give unto you. The meaning of grace, is not that it's a lubricant. Something that you can use to slide into the kingdom. Even though, grace basically is, God's Riches At Christ's Expense. Yes; Ephesians 2:8; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. But, no, it's not by somethings you do on your own; v9; Not of works, lest any man should boast. But instead; v10; For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Meaning; Romans 6:1; What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? v2; God forbid. And as apostle Paul stated; Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. See you got to die, in order to sustain that grace. v21; I do not frustrate the grace of God. Yes, grace is something we receive.
