“Get Understanding; how things stand under God.” 2 Kings 8:1; Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years. Proverbs 4:5; Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. v6; Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. v7; Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 2 Kings 8:2; And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years. (Her way of acknowledging him.) Proverbs 3:6; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. “Get Understanding; how things stand under God.” 2 Kings 8:3; And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land. v4; And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done. (Gehazi leaning on his own understanding, got leprosy. He had a lack of wisdom, understanding; James 1:5; If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But, instead he asked himself.) “Get Understanding; how things stand under God.” 2 Kings 8:5; And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life. (Gehazi was sharing this understanding to the king.) Isaiah 55:8; For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 2 Kings 8:6; And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now. “Get Understanding; how things stand under God.” Isaiah 34:16; Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” Philippians 1:21; For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” 2 Kings 20:1; In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. 1 Peter 4:1; Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” 2 Kings 20:2; Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, v3; I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 1 Timothy 4:8; For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” 2 Kings 20:4; And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, v5; Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. John 15:7; If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” 2 Kings 20:6; And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. 2 Timothy 2:12; If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. “Turning Your Pain, Into Your Very Access!” Teaching! John 14:15; If ye love me, keep my commandments. “If You Really Love The Lord Just Tell Him!” (Tell Is A Lie, Telling Your Old Self That He Is A Lie.) Genesis 39:7; And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 1 John 2:16; For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. “If You Really Love The Lord Just Tell Him!” Genesis 39:8; But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; v9; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? John 10:10; The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. “If You Really Love The Lord Just Tell Him!” Genesis 39:10; And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. v12; And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. Philippians 3:13; Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, v14; I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. “If You Really Love The Lord Just Tell Him!” Romans 3:3; For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? v4; God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. Romans 8:37; Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. “If You Really Love The Lord Just Tell Him!” Overseer/Apostle

“They Don’t Want Me, The Lord (No/Know More)!” 2 Peter 3:3; Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, v4; And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (This saying is shown in the way of the church, and the actions of God’s people.) Acts 18:12; And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat, v13; Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law. (They are saying this is speaking doom on them.) Romans 3:4; God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. “They Don’t Want Me, The Lord (No/Know More)!” 2 Kings 6:1; And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. (Here is where the church and God’s people, wants to do him their way. Titus 1:16; They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. 2 Kings 6:2; Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye. v5; But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. (Here you have the church, God’s people, can’t own up to anything. Cause it’s borrowed and temporal which is a lost.) 2 Corinthians 4:3; But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. “They Don’t Want Me, The Lord (No/Know) More!” Luke 6:46; And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? John 6:61; When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? “They Don’t Want Me, The Lord (No/Know) More!” Teaching That’ll Bless You! “THINK NOW!” John 1:38; Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? v39; He saith unto them, Come and see. Matthew 16:24; Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. “THINK NOW!” John 2:17; And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. Romans 10:2; For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. v3; For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (Your zeal will consume any righteousness of God in you.) John 2:23; Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. v24; But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, v25; And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. 1 Corinthians 8:7; Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge. “THINK NOW!” Luke 7:23; And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. v26; But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet. John 6:57; As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. v60; Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? v61; When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? “THINK NOW!” 1 Corinthians 1:26; For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. “THINK NOW!” 1 Corinthians 10:23; All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Titus 2:8; Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. “If It Seems Right, Hurt Me Lord, Hurt Me!” Genesis 32:25; And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. Colossians 2:14; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; v15; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. “If It Seems Right, Hurt Me Lord, Hurt Me!” Genesis 32:26; And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 2 Timothy 2:12; If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us. “If It Seems Right, Hurt Me Lord, Hurt Me!” Genesis 32:27; And he said unto him. The church today for the most part thought of coming to the Lord Jesus Christ, is to use him as a crutch. Use him for the good deeds, the world being you; 1 John 2:16; For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. His call is not for you but him in you; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Whatever happen church; Matthew 16:24; Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. “All Out For The Lord!” You may ask how do I get that way? There are some conclusions you have to come to; Romans 7:18; For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Galatians 5:17; For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. “All Out For The Lord!” 1 John 4:4; Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. “All Out For The Lord!” How do I get that way? Philippians 3:15; Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Colossians 3:2; Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. “All Out For The Lord!” How do I get that way? 2 Corinthians 13:5; Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Ezekiel 12:2; Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house. James 4:7; Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. “All Out For The Lord!” How do I get that way? Ezekiel 12:3; Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house. Hey, they, are you on your way out? “All Out For The Lord!” Read on your own; 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Corinthians 2:2 and Galatians 2:20. The manifestation is in the “All Out For The Lord!” Teaching! “Coming To Terms With Growing!” 1 Samuel 2:21; And the child Samuel grew before the Lord. 2 Timothy 2:15; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. “Coming To Terms With Growing!” 1 Samuel 2:26; And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the Lord, and also with men. Titus 1:9; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. “Coming To Terms With Growing!” 1 Samuel 3:19; And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. John 15:7; If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. “Coming To Terms With Growing!” Hebrews 11:24; By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; v25; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; v26; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. 1 Corinthians 13:11; When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. “Coming To Terms With Growing!” Genesis 5:24; And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. John 8:31; If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; v32; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. “Coming To Terms With Growing!” Teaching! Overseer/Apostle

(PAY ATTENTION!) “Passion Without Process Equals Nought!” Job 2:7; So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. v9; Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. v10; But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. “Passion Without Process Equals Nought!” 2 Timothy 1:12; For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Job 13:15; Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. “Passion Without Process Equals Nought! As David said; 2 Samuel 24:24; And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; But I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. Job 42:10; And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. “Passion Without Process Equals Nought! John 15:4; Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Acts 8:13; Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. v14; Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: “Passion Without Process Equals Nought!” John 8:31; If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. Acts 8:17; Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. v18; And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, v19; Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. “Passion Without Process Equals Nought!” John said it this way; 1 John 2:19; They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. Acts 8:20; But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. v21; Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. “Passion Without Process Equals Nought! Romans 9:6; Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel. “Passion Without Process Equals Nought!” Amos 3:3; Can two walk together, except they be agreed? “Passion Without Process Equals Nought!” Teaching! John 3:16; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. “Noticeable Love!” John 8:4; They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 1 Corinthians 10:13; There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. “Noticeable Love!” John 8:5; Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? Romans 8:3; For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: v4; That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. “Noticeable Love!” John 8:6; This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. John 15:13; Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. “Noticeable Love!” John 8:7; So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. v8; And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. Philippians 3:21; Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. “Noticeable Love!” John 8:9; And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. v10; When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? v11; She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Ephesians 5:26; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. “Noticeable Love!” 1 Peter 4:1; Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (Read v2.) “Noticeable Love!” Teaching! John 10:10; The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. “What You Waiting On, He (Done)Come?” John 3:3; Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. v4; Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? v5; Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (That being to us, is.) Ephesians 5:26; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. “What You Waiting On, He (Done) Come?” Matthew 23:24; Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. v25; Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. v28; Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. (That being to us, is.) Romans 10:2; For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. v3; For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. “What You Waiting On, He (Done) Come?” Matthew 7:13; Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: v14; Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (That being to us, is.) Galatians 1:6; I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: v7; Which is not another, but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. “What You Waiting On, He (Done) Come?” Done Come, in this instance, it’s a doing: Philippians 2:5-11. “Disconnected To Establish The Word!” 1 Samuel 1:8; Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? v9; So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord. (Shiloh meeting place where the Ark of the Covenant was kept.) Colossians 3:2; Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. “Disconnected To Establish The Word!” 1 Samuel 1:11; And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life. 2 Timothy 2:15; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. “Disconnected To Establish The Word!” 1 Samuel 1:21; And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the Lord the yearly sacrifice, and his vow. v22; But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the Lord, and there abide for ever. (Unto us this is a ongoing process, in him receiving us more.) 2 Corinthians 6:17; Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. “Disconnected To Establish The Word!” 1 Samuel 1:23; And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the Lord establish his word. 2 Timothy 2:19; Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. Luke 17:11; And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. v12; And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off. v13; And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. “KEEP CHANGE!” Hebrews 4:14; Let us hold fast our profession. v15; For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. v16; Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Having strong, vivid, clear appearance.) Luke 17:14; And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. (Let me remind you, all of this is to be done by your actual being.) Luke 17:18; There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. v19; And he said unto him, Arise, Go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. “KEEP CHANGE!” 1 Peter 4:4; Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you. Exodus 20:3; Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Galatians 5:13; For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. (Remember now, God is love; 1 John 4:8; for God is love.) “Is Before Me, Worth It?” Job 2:3; And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. (The Lord will allow your stand in him to be challenged.) v9; Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. v10; But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. “Is Before Me, Worth It?” Galatians 1:10; For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. “Is Before Me, Worth It?” Mark 10:21; Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. (His Before Me was how he possessed, he wanted to attempt to serve both; Matthew 6:24.) v22; And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. “Is Before Me, Worth It?” 1 Corinthians 10:23; All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. “Is Before Me, Worth It?” Acts 5:28; Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. (They will position people in our lives, that would try to exert power of position to elevate their stance in our lives.) v29: The Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. “Is Before Me, Worth It” 1 Corinthians 6:12; All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. “Is Before Me, Worth It?” Titus 1:9; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. “Is Before Me, Worth It?” Teaching! “Church, Why It’s Important Too Come Up!” Genesis 19:17; And it came to pass, when they had bought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. 2 Peter 2:20; For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. Genesis 19:18; And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord. My brothers and sisters, when you come to the Lord, your whole directions in your life should start to changing. Not for you to stay the same with minor alterations. v20; Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. Song of Solomon 2:15; Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Ephesians 4:27; Neither give place to the devil. Ain’t really doing anything. “Church, Why It’s Important Too Come Up!” Acts 10:9; On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour. Church, coming to the Lord is a constant draw. Hebrews 7:19; For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Acts 10:10; And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance. Here Peter was hungry for the Word. Matthew 5:6; Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. And the Word will bring upon a change. Romans 12:2; And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. “Church, Why It’s Important Too Come Up!” (Read Acts 10:11-13; v14; But Peter said, Not so, Lord; For I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. John 15:3; Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Coming up is a cleaning up of life. Acts 10:15; And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. It’s a higher life. John 6:57; As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. “Church, Why It’s Important Too Come Up! Read Acts 10:16-18; v19; While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. 2 Timothy 2:15; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Acts 10:20; Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. When you’re coming up, you go down. Isaiah 26:3; Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. “Managing Your Saving!” 2 Kings 4:1; Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. (Her husband had one, but she didn’t. The woman needed a standard.) Isaiah 59:19; So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. “Managing Your Saving!” 2 Kings 4:2; And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. v3; Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. (She was told what to do.) John 8:31; If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. “Managing Your Saving!” 2 Kings 4:4; And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. v6; And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. “What’s The Status Of Your Relationship?” John 21:15; So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 1 Peter 2:2; As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: v3; If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Matthew 16:24; Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. “What’s The Status Of Your Relationship?” John 21:16; He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 1 Corinthians 13:11; When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. John 21:18; Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 2 Corinthians 4:10; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. “What’s The Status Of Your Relationship?” Teaching! Romans 10:1; Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. “But, You Pulling You!” Romans 7:18; For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: For to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Luke 15:11; And he said, A certain man had two sons: v12; And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. Luke 11:17; Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. “But, You Pulling You!” Romans 7:19; For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Luke 15:13; And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. “A Take On Grace!” Ephesians 2:7; That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. v8; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. v9; Not of works, lest any man should boast. Now, one of the most challenging comprehension of the last two verses, is you don’t have to do anything, you’re covered. That’s so far from the truth. Old Testament picture; Isaiah 4:1; And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying. We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. But in essence Paul said; Romans 6:1; What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? v2; God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? I beg to differ. What Paul is saying in Ephesians, it was said in a way to keep us from taking credit for it! It’s not your doing. Instead his doing through you. To take grace any other way is a delay of coming up in the Lord, a disadvantage. 1 Kings 18:21; And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. “A Take On Grace!” Numbers 15:32; And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. v35; And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 1 Samuel 3:1; And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. The man gathering sticks couldn’t see the word that way. Hosea 4:6; My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge. John 1:17; For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Grace came to cover the lack of the truth. “A Take On Grace!” Mary, Martha sister sat at Jesus feet, Luke 10:39. One of the ten men leper’s, which stood afar off: turned back and glorified God, Luke 17:12-16. Matthew 11:29; Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me. “A Take On Grace!” John 6:67; Then said Jesus unto the twelve, will ye also go away? Galatians 2:21; I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. John 6:68; Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. Titus 2:11; For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. v12; Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. James 1:25; But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. “A Take On Grace!” Teaching! “Seeking Another Country!” Genesis 12:1; Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee. Now many church folks would say what that mean? John 4:24; God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Now, the Old Testament is a picture of things we should do or not do spiritually. In our stead, he is saying to Abram, leave your ways and relationships. Jeremiah 7:3; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. “Seeking Another Country!” Genesis 12:4; So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. In our stead, Abram left but he took Lot along with him. Many come to the Lord but want to keep a lot of themselves with them. Amos 3:3; Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Genesis 13:7; And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. Galatians 5:17; For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. “Seeking Another Country!” Genesis 13:8; And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen, For we be brethren. 2 Peter 1:10; Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. “Seeking Another Country!” Abram speaking; Genesis 13:9; Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me. 1 Corinthians 2:2; For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. “Seeking Another Country!” Hebrews 11:14; For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. v16; But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Another Country; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. “Seeking Another Country!” Teaching!
