Genesis 19:17; And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. The word of the Lord plainly states, 1 John 2:16; For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father, but is of the world. But, God’s people in this hour is still saying, Genesis 19:18; And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: v19; Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die. This is what the word says about this, Ephesians 4:20; But ye have not so learned Christ; v21; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: v22; That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; v23; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Genesis 19:20; Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. “Danger of a Little City!” Galatians 5:8; This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. v9; A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Remember that Lot stayed plain, a city call Zohar, a pitched tent toward Sodom, Genesis 13:12. “Danger of a Little City!” Galatians 5:13; For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh. Romans 13:14; But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. “Danger of a Little City!” Teaching!
