2 Kings 7:3; And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? v4; If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. They were dying anyway, “What Difference Did It Make When?” v5; And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. “What Difference Did It Make When?” 2 Corinthians 4:7; But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. v10; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. Philippians 1:21; For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. “What Difference Did It Make When?” 2 Kings 7:6; For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host.. v7; Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life. “What Difference Did It Make When?” Galatians 2:17; But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. v18; For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. “What Difference Did It Make When?” Hebrews 12:2; Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 2 Kings 7:8; And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it. “What Difference Did It Make When?” The way you die, and how you look at it.
