“Excuse Me, I’ve Got To Supplicate!” The attitude of our request or petition. James says that: on the one hand we don’t receive because we don’t ask: James 4:2; Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. On the other hand, we ask and don’t receive because we are thinking only of our fleshly desires: v3; Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Perhaps the best way to supplicate, is to end with “Your will be done” Matthew 26:39; Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. James 4:5; Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? v6; But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. “Excuse Me, I’ve Got To Supplicate!” 2 Chronicles 7:14; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 1 Peter 5:7; Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. “Excuse Me, I’ve Got To Supplicate!” Philippians 4:5; Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. v6; Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”Excuse Me, I’ve Got To Supplicate!” Teaching!
