“Going To Church With Regularity!” I’ve heard, “Well, I don’t need to go to church to be saved.” Jesus said, Matthew 16:18; And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. You see, the Church is Jesus’ idea, not man’s idea. It seems we should pay attention to his plan since it came from Him. “Going To Church With Regularity!” Another reason we need to be in church every time the doors are open. We are influenced greatly by our surroundings. Paul said it like this: Hebrews 3:13; But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. v14; For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end. Ephesians 4:27; Neither give place to the devil. “Going To Church With Regularity!” You go to church regularly, to counteract all of the deception that is crammed into your mind all throughout the week. Paul warns believers, Colossians 2:8; Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. We have to be careful not to be spoil, that being our walk diminish. Traditions, refers to teachings, ungodly teachers are speaking into your life every week, social media, music, co-workers, friends and family. 2 Corinthians 6:17; Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. But fill your mind with godly wisdom and discernment. Go to church regularly. “Going To Church With Regularity!” Serving makes us more theological astute. 1 Peter 3:15; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. Paul discusses, Ephesians 4:14; That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Going to church make you better grounded theologically.
