Matthew 9:11; And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? v12; But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. v13; But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Once upon a time that was so with the Church being in the world. But, now days, that word is to the Church World, the world being in the church. There is no wholeness in the Church. That brings up the subject; “Who Do You Rely On?” Asa, 1 Kings 15:11; And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did David his father. v12; And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. Galatians 3:3; Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 1 Kings 15:14; But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa’s heart was perfect with the Lord all his days. Asa had a heart for God. That’s where the difference between him and David was; Acts 13:22; And said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. “Who Do You Rely On?” 2 Chronicles 16:2; Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the Lord and of the king’s house, and sent to Ben-hadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying, v3; There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father; behold, I sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me. Jeremiah 17:5; Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. “Who Do You Rely On?” 2 Chronicles 16:7; And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the Lord thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand. v9; For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. v10; Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time. “Who Do You Rely On?” Hosea 4:6; My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee. 2 Chronicles 16:12; And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. “Who Do You Rely On?” Romans 7:18; For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. “Who Do You Rely On?” Proverbs 3:5; Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. v6; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. “Who Do You Rely On?” Teaching!
