“Why Leave Faith For Sin?” Ruth 1:1; Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Beth-lehem-judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons. (Moab it’s inhabitants were descendants of Lot.) Now notice in the above verse, God did not tell them to leave the famine. v2; And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi. (What happened to his judges ruled?) Jeremiah 23:5; Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. All that is; Galatians 3:11; But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. “Why Leave Faith For Sin?” Ruth 1:3; And Elimelech Naomi’s husband died; and she was left, and her two sons. v4; And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years. (A way you could look at this is they took on sin and dwelled in it.) James 1:14; But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. v15; Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. “Why Leave Faith For Sin?” Ruth 1:6; Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: For she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread. (Now, when Naomi gathered herself, a realization kicked in.) Romans 3:30; Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. (Had a now faith moment. Let me get my identity back.) Titus 1:9; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. “Why Leave Faith For Sin?” Ruth 1:7; Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah. (A now faith moment.) Hebrews 11:1; Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “Why Leave Faith For Sin?” Teaching! Apostle
