“Is Your Cry, Loud Enough?” Mark 10:46; And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the high-way side begging. (Jericho is in close proximity to the Dead Sea which is the lowest point on earth. Bartimaeus, decided it was time to come up; Colossians 3:2; Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.) “Is Your Cry, Loud Enough?” Mark 10:47; And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. (You go to Church, but is your cry, filled with humility? Hebrews 3:15; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. Mark 7:6; He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.) “Is Your Cry, Loud Enough?” Mark 10:48; And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. (In our days, we as people of God, must know, that there will be a lot in the world and our flesh, to quieten us; 2 Thessalonians 2:2; That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. (This the other noise.) “Is Your Cry, Loud Enough?” Mark 10:49; And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. v50; And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. (Humility kicks in; 1 Peter 5:6; Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. (What’s important) v7; Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.) “Is Your Cry, Loud Enough?” Mark 10:51; And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. v52; And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. (This type of cry gets attention; Hebrews 11:6; But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.) “Is Your Cry, Loud Enough?” Teaching!
