“WILLINGLY; readily; of one’s own free will!” Is your coming to the Lord, noble? Acts 17:10; And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. v11; These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (See willingly: Matthew 5:6; Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.) “WILLINGLY; readily; of one’s own free will!” Is your coming to the Lord bold? Acts 4:13; Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. (See willingly: Romans 13:13; Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. v14; But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.) “WILLINGLY; readily; of one’s own free will!” Is your coming to the Lord from the heart? Acts 21:13; Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. (See willingly: 1 Peter 3:15; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.) “WILLINGLY; readily; of one’s own free will!” John 6:16; And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea, v17; And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. v18; And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. v19; So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. v21; Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went. (Willingly; Colossians 3:2; Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Isaiah 1:19; If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. “WILLINGLY; readily; of one’s own free will!” Teaching! Overseer/Apostle
