“DO YOU HAVE THE HEART FOR IT?” 2 Chronicles 1:11; And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 2 Chronicles 1:12; Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. Solomon sought the Lord. He didn’t put his self before the work of the Lord. He’s not saying you can’t seek him for other things. But the work of the Lord, comes foremost. Colossians 3:23; And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; v24; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. “DO YOU HAVE THE HEART FOR IT?” Uzziah; 2 Chronicles 26:5; And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. The work of the Lord is a statement you do in him. Jeremiah 29:13; And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. “DO YOU HAVE THE HEART FOR IT?” 2 Chronicles 26:16; But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense. When you are lifted in your heart, you have tendencies to do the work of the Lord your way or not at all. Luke 6:45; A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Job 27:5; God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. You can’t stop what you’re doing in the Lord. Psalm 73:26; My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. “DO YOU HAVE THE HEART FOR IT?” Psalm 51:10; Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Acts 13:22; And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. “DO YOU HAVE THE HEART FOR IT?” Teaching!
