So they went down to Beth-el. v3; And the sons of the prophets that were at Beth-el came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. Righteousness calls for commitment to a place of holiness. Righteousness challenges temptation, and conquers it. 2 Corinthians 10:5; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Kings 2:6; And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the Lord hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the Lord liveth, as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. Righteousness cause you to flow downward. Righteousness will cause you to eventually cross over. That is if you believe like you say you do.
