“HOW DO YOU PLAY?” I want you to look with me for a moment. A play being a performance, before an audience. Isaiah 59:19; So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Nehemiah 6:2; That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. Now how do you, play? Hebrews 5:13; For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. v14; But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Nehemiah 6:3; And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? It’s a performance, it’s how you play. 1 Corinthians 15:54; So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. “HOW DO YOU PLAY?” Play is the performance of the Lord Jesus Christ in you. 1 Samuel 16:14; But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. v16; Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. v17; And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. Played performance being, well. 2 Timothy 1:12; For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 1 Samuel 16:23; And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. A play, an act played out. 2 Corinthians 4:7; But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. Acts 17:28; For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. “HOW DO YOU PLAY?” Acts 19:13; Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. v15; And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? v16; And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. How do you play? 2 Corinthians 13:5; Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? “HOW DO YOU PLAY?” Teaching! Overseer/Apostle
