“LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” 1 Corinthians 7:17; But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” 2 Samuel 24:21; And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the Lord, that the plague may be stayed from the people. (My means, is based on me showing the Lord what he means to me. 1 Corinthians 15:10; But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.) “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” 2 Samuel 24:22-23; v23; All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The Lord thy God accept thee. (Living above your means, without proof. Ecclesiastes 7:16; Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?) “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” 2 Samuel 24:24; And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. (My means, is based on me showing the Lord, what he means to me. 2 Corinthians 9:6; But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.) “LIVING BEYOND YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” Naaman came to Elisha; 2 Kings 5:15; And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. v16; But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused. (My means is based on me showing the Lord, how much he means to me. Luke 24:49; And, Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 2 Corinthians 3:5; Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.) “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” 2 Kings 5:20; But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the Lord liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him. v25; But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither. (Living above your means, without proof. John 10:1; Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.) “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” 2 Kings 5:26; And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? v27; The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow. (Living above your means, own your own. Proverbs 26:12; Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.) “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. “LIVING ABOVE YOUR MEANS, TWOFOLD!” Teaching!
