BUT IT'S PERSONAL! Even, Nicodemus, a man of the Pharisees, a ruler of the Jews knew that; John 3:2; The same came to Jesus by night. He got the personal part right, but he was wrong. He was looking for a one night stand. And Jesus was looking for relationship, personal. v3; Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. He goes on and get even more personal about relationship in; Matthew 5:20; For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. BUT IT'S PERSONAL! Comes clearer, when Paul said; Philippians 2:12; Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence (PERSONAL RE LA TION SHIP), work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
