2 Corinthians 12:9; Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Let me make it clear for Christ's sake! FOR THE POWER! v10; Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. FOR THE POWER! Infirmities; Psalm 34:19; Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. v20; He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. FOR THE POWER! Reproaches; Job 27:6; My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. Proverbs 14:34; Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. FOR THE POWER! Necessities; Luke 12:31; But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. v32; Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. FOR THE POWER! Persecutions; Psalm 46:1; God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Isaiah 54:17; No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and (their righteousness is of me,) saith the Lord. FOR THE POWER! Distresses; Isaiah 40:31; But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. FOR THE POWER! 2 Corinthians 12:9; And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Philippians 1:21; For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. FOR THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME! Overseer/Apostle
